This coin is made of 89% silver; 11% copper and has a current melt value of $14.67
Obverse: Star 1 Penetrates curl at left OBV. 2. S1B, S8UE, S9UE, S15C. Star 1 penetrates curl at left side of the curve. Star 2 is about ½ mm. from second curl. Star 8 is 1 ½ mm. from base of L. Star 15 has a point buried in end of the bust about ¼ mm. below upper edge. Date is 7 ¾ mm. Some show a die crack from edge through star 3.
Reverse: Berries 9-9; Leaf does not touch base of I REV. C. 18 berries 9-9. Point of leaf below I in AMERICA is about half way across and well clear of the base. Same position applies to leaf below F in OF. (58,55,30,30,25) R.5 4
