1860 Mormon $5 Die Trial MS RB Copper Uniface Restrike Values

Details

This uniface copper "die trial" was produced by unknown parties employing the same dies used to strike regular-issue Mormon gold five dollar coins in 1860. The restrike "die trials" were made at a much later date, probably around 1897-1898, ostensibly to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Mormon settlement in Utah. (Heritage)
