The Greysheet Catalog (GSID) of the Dimes, Mint State series of Coin Rolls in the U.S. Coins contains 2 distinct entries with CPG® values between $17.00 and $130.00.

Mint state rolls of dimes include 50 individual singles of the same date and mintmark that are sold within a single roll. Mint state rolls of dimes may either be coins still contained in their original bank wrapper or assembled as a so-called put-together roll. The allure for collectors in buying rolls is the opportunity to cherrypick for scarce errors or varieties, while dealers normally pursue rolls as bulk purchases of the same issue to be parceled out as singles or added to larger date-and-mintmark sets or other types of collections.

Both collectors and dealers usually seek premium-quality examples in rolls, which may contain coins worthy of submitting to a third-party coin certification firm for a select grade. For the most part, coins in a typical uncirculated roll grade MS60 to about MS63, regardless of whether the roll is an original bank-wrapped example or assembled more recently by a collector or dealer and packaged in an aftermarket coin tube.
