Private restrikes. About a half dozen examples of J-40 are believed to exist, including one in the Durham Western Heritage Museum.
Obverse: 1808 half eagle die of the regular design by John Reich.
Reverse: Regular Heraldic Eagle $5 die of an earlier era (last regularly used for coinage in 1807).
