The 1853 900-Thousandths $10s were issued for around a month, starting in March of 1853. Only around 45 examples are known today, most of which grade AU. Two or three examples grade choice mint state, and any fully uncirculated example would qualify for inclusion in the condition census. Ten examples were recovered from the S.S. Central America.
