Tax Anticipation Certificates were authorized under the April 11, 1768 Act (£3,375 4s1d), the Dec. 24, 1768 Act (93,046 16s8d), and the May 10, 1770 Act (23,355 9s1/4d). These were receivable for taxes. Printed in red and black from set type with handwritten dates, amounts and purpose of issue. Signer was Noble Jones.
