The Greysheet Catalog (GSID) of the Government of Hong Kong series of Hong Kong in the World Currency contains 56 distinct entries with CPG® values between $1.00 and $10,800.00.

Under the Currency Ordinance of 1935, banknotes in denominations of 5 dollars and above issued by the three authorized local banks were all declared legal tender. The Government of Hong Kong (GOV) took over production of 1-dollar and small change notes.
